Today members the Friends of Corpus Christi Hall volunteer group and parents of children in Corpus Christi G.N.S. delivered a letter to Minister Norma Foley on the loss of PE facilities Corpus Christi G.N.S. Minister Foley is responsible for Policy and Quality Assurance in national schools.
The letter outlines:
- concerns the group has with the lack of availability of Corpus Christi Parish Hall to the school
- the unsuitability of the Scout Den for delivery PE for a 450 pupil school
- The slow progress of the school’s Board of Management in resolving this issue
- The lack of engagement of Archdioceses on this matter
The letter asks for the minister to assist the Board of Management in their engagement with the Archdioceses. The letter also asks for a Whole School Evaluation of the school to be conducted.
